Knowledge Web contributors are volunteers from around the world providing answers and resources on a broad range of subjects. In addition to the personal satisfaction of helping others, you'll be able to network, gain visibility, make new friends, and build a following.

What does an Expert do? You'll answer occasional questions posted on your forum by Knowledge Web visitors and students. You may also post comments, tutorials, and share other useful resources if you wish.

What does a Topic Editor do? You'll post articles, tutorials, reviews, links to cool websites, and anything else readers may find interesting. You decide how much time you'll devote to your Knowledge Web topic.

What does a Mentor do? You'll "teach" a course at Virtual University on a subject that you know and enjoy. This is easier than it sounds! Mentors answer occasional questions from students and post feedback on extra credit projects that some students may post. You don't have to grade papers, score tests, or write lessons. In most classes, mentoring requires no more than a few hours a month.
